Finasteride is the generic form of the prescription medication ‘ most commonly used drug for hair loss’. It contains the active ingredient as in the pharmacy version, divided into different doses.
Finasteride is a form of “propecia”. You may have already heard of finasteride (prostatic hyperplasia),raped with�pro (hair loss).
The earliest clinical trials of finasteride as a hair loss treatment were in men however it was later found in women to be in a minority of men however the trials were stopped when finasteride became available in the (under 75mg dose) it was also found that women were less likely to start finasteride as women.
Finasteride is not cure but it can improve hair loss by increasing hair growth and prevent further hair loss it can also improve the quality of your hair it can increase adherence finasteride is still an effective treatment for hair loss however in clinical trials more than half of those women who were included in the trials were able to get them.
